Jessica’s Random Thoughts…

1. I am SO thrilled to have television back! We are really liking Fringe a lot. I highly recommend it. Heroes is back also. The first episode wasn’t terribly good but hopefully it will get better soon. Last night was a whopper! The Simpsons, Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives (the whole 5 years ahead thing wasn’t as terrible as I thought it may be) and our new all time favorite show, Dexter. Dexter is an incredible piece of television awesomeness. If you have Showtime you need to be watching Dexter - or netflix it - thats how we got started.

2. I am in love with my iphone. I’m not sure how I ever got along without it.

3. Aren’t you so sad about the whole Travis Barker plane crash thing? I couldn’t believe it. It’s terribly sad.

4. I tried to make sorbet last night in our ice cream machine (1st use after getting it at our shower 2 years ago!) and totally failed. I read that you could just pour some fruit juice in it and get sorbet, but that was a lie. All I got was chilled juice.

Kristine + Ryan!

ceremony : St. Ambrose Church

reception : Detroit Yacht Club

cake : Blooming Bakery

DJ : Michigan Wedding DJ

Kristine and Ryan are cool people. They are such cool people that they had a 100 member bridal party! No, it wasn’t really that big, but it was BIG.

They like to have fun, and that’s what they did on their wedding day. We went to Hart Plaza and Lafayette Coney Island for photo taking fun.  Then Kristine and Ryan took a sail boat to their reception at the DYC! How fun!

Kristine’s dad helping her into the church:

Trolley limo!:

Could we love Hart Plaza more? No.:

At this point, I am sure everyone knows my thoughts on cathedral veils. They are the super best!:

From the sail boat. I think this is pretty awesome:

First dance:

Cutest cake ever! Seriously, I was so pleased when I saw this sitting there. Little birdies + grass = adorable cake! This is how do a white cake and not make it boring:

Head table centerpieces were all sorts of glass vases and candle holders. It was stunning:

Rings on Smarties!:

Taz the Dog!

Meet Taz, the Australian Shepherd. He came in last week for some adorable portraits! I am pretty seriously in love with him. How could I no be?!

Pooch portraits are our favorite thing in the whole world. I don’t think people take us very seriously when we mention it, but these sessions are real!

This is definitely a favorite:

I also really love this one:

And his traditional head shot pose:
