Julie + Chris Get Hitched Henry Ford Museum Style~!

ceremony + reception ~ The Henry Ford Museum

dress ~ custom by Bonnie Daws

cake ~ Cake Nouveau

favors ~ Great American Pretzel Company

DJ ~ Mary Ann Ross

Julie + Chris are two of the most adorable, kind, fun, open and in love people we have ever worked with. I hope that they will be in our lives for a long time.

Their wedding was unique in SO many ways~! Which is what every wedding should be, but they really made it their own. Chris is an illustrator for Star Wars and Julie is a creative director for an ad agency, so needless to say, they are creative.

Their were two VERY VERY unique (unique like we will never ever seeĀ  them again at a wedding) items at this wedding. The first being the 2 actual Stormtroopers. The 2 Stormtroopers greeted guests as they arrived at the museum and mingled with them at the cocktail hour. Amazing. The second was the grooms cake, which you’ll see later in this post.

OK. Here it is. The Grooms cake. It is from Star Wars. It’s called a Taun Taun. I guess that Luke got cold and this Taun Taun was dead (or he killed it?) so he slept in it’s ripped open belly. Or something like that. Anyways, it was the raddest cake ever and it really grossed people out~! It was amazing:

Don and I were not able to attend. However, we viewed the pictures and we knew that Julie and Chris’ wedding would be spectacular and unique. We are so happy for you

Wonderful photos of an amazing couple. Julie was one of my favorite brides.
