Jodie + Dan. What to say about this incredible, unique and hilarious couple.

I have a feeling that we will know Jodie + Dan for a long time. We enjoyed our time with them so much. Their unique take on things and complete disregard for doing things the “right” way, speaks to us like you’ll never know.

The wedding was such an extension of who they are, which is what every wedding should be. Jodie wore hot pink (like 80′s day glo pink) Converse. She had a radtastic feather headpiece instead of a veil. The bouquets were half flowers and half feathers. Jodie has a tattoo sleeve on one arm. I mean, come on! This is a couple who makes their own rules and enjoys every minute of it!

We went down to graffiti alley for bridal party photos. Rumor had it that the graffiti had been painted over, but as you can see in the images, that is NOT true! What a killer spot for photos for a couple like this. Maybe it’s been done a lot, maybe it’s not the most original idea, but when you have a Jodie + Dan, you go to graffiti:)

The ceremony was serioulsy 3 minutes. When she told me 3 minutes, she was spot on. We got what we needed though and again, a 3 minute ceremony is SO them.

The reception was decorated super awesome! Black and pink. Feathers. LOVE it. There was the cake. Our second Star Wars cake creation from Cake Nouveau. I think we may specialize in Star Wars weddings now:)There were also cupcakes with tiny hand made fondant light sabers. The reception featured 2 Wii stations. Wii. At the reception. AWESOME!

So yeah, we loves this wedding. This wedding was Jodie + Dan, but it was also us. That doesn’t happen a lot and we appreciated so much feeling at home and being welcomed by people who I know will become our friends.

Amazing job as always! I love the groom in the mirror, the graffiti alley, the shoes, and the fantastic decor. I love when brides aren’t afraid of using COLOR. The reception looks so swanky.
