Juliet and Chris are the most adorable EVER! They are the perfect mixture of particular and care free. Which means that they get business done (and well) but can also step back and share a big laugh.
We had SO much fun spending this time with them. There was so much laughter at their session.

The GTKY sessions (get to know you) have become my very most favorite thing!
I love reading through the questionnaires the couples fill out about themselves, each other and their relationships.
Shannon + Gerry are first and foremost hilarious. They are also so comfortable together and so adorable. The 3 main portions of their lives together that we focused on for this session were:
~ their love of going to the movies
~ the fact that they spend a ton of time playing all sorts of video games together
~ the fact that Shannons Family owns a produce company in the Eastern Market and that Shannon worked there and spent a giant amount of time there and now Gerry works there
The movie theater shot was my baby. I was SO excited to do this. This has been done before, I did not invent the idea, but I have never done it and so I was excited. It turned out SO rad!
The video game shots were done in our studio and they are hilarious! I told them to bring all the stuff they would normally have with them while they played games at home, so they brought blankets and pillows and wore their pajamas! So awesome! I love these silly shots.
The Eastern Market portion of the session was cold. We all agreed on that. But we worked through the pain and got some super cool images there as well.
A semi new offering for us, the Get To Know You Session is becoming quite popular~! Why? Because it’s super awesome. Duh.
The GTKY (most rad things have an acronym) is a super pimped out engagement session done at a multitude of personalized locations. We have you both, yes groom you too, a questionnaire to fill out all about your relationship and what you love. Then we create a super fun multi our photo taking engagement extravaganza for you!
Heidi and Jonathan, were engaged at Slows in Detroit. So we made special arrangements to shoot inside before opening. The b&w shot of them in the booth is the actual location of their engagement. Cool? Yes~!
They both went to the old Cass Tech. But they didn’t know each other. Crazy huh? So, we went there for some shots as well before it gets any worse looking 
They like to ride their bikes and walk the Dequindre Cut, so guess what? We went there too!

~ While shaving, Ryan like to shave his mustache into funny shapes and mortify Susan for a minute

~ their wedding is approximately 5 blocks from our house at the Reserve
~ Susan shares my undying love for cupcakes. She is the first person I’ve met who I think can rival my cupcake love
