Amanda + David Rocked Their Wedding!

ceremony : Hope Chapel

reception : Cherry Creek

florist : Vivianos

DJ : Todd Belanger @ Sound Dog

officiant : Miriam Jerris @ The Wedding Connection

cake : Holiday Market

Amanda + Dave are cool people. So we took some pretty cool images for them. Their ceremony was at the adorable Hope Chapel in Shelby Twp. That place is so cute! It’s the perfect option if you want a church wedding without all the “church stuff” in your ceremony.

The best portraits are taken when someone doesn’t know your taking their portrait:

I heart this shot Nate got:

Amanda and her dad ready to walk down the aisle:

How sweet is this place? And this shot is pretty sweet too:

I wish this was my wedding photo:

Moody shot by a giant rock:

Yummy sunset:

ANOTHER not-all-white cake!!! I feel so lucky this year to have witnessed so many awesome colorful cakes! This one is one of the best though:

Rings on a crystal tree thingy. I love this:

Amy + Greg Got Hitched!

ceremony + reception : St Johns Golf & Conference Center

DOC : Kate @ Purple Clover

Florist : Michelle Nonis

DJ : Mike Staff

video : Kristyn Smyth @ Castle Video

Amy + Greg had a wonderfully intimate ceremony at St. Johns last week. There were only about 30 people there for the ceremony and was so nice.

Amy was good at the sass:

Some less than typical St Johns shots:

I totally love this:

Ros + Jon Get Their Nuptuals On!

ceremony : Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

reception : Rochester Community House

florist : Design Works

cake : Home Bakery

We feel so lucky to work with amazing couples like Ros + Jon. I cannot stress the importance of trust when it comes to your wedding photos. Ros + Jon are fun, easy going and so incredibly nice. Their didn’t feel like work to us. I know that we will continue to get to know these two for a very long time!

We did some cool urban shots in downtown Rochester:

We have a thing for brick:

We also have a thing for industrial stairways:

Over to the Rochester Community House for some more fantastic images. By the way, isn’t Ros’s little jacket too adorable?! I had never seen anything like it and I loved it:

Yummy sky:

Another bride that had no issue laying in the grass! How lucky are we! I think it was totally worth it for this sassy image:

First dance:

Yet another non-white cake!:

Their centerpieces were made of wheat grass, which is one of my all time fav things. So, rings in wheat grass:
