Liz + BJ Get Hitched!

church : St Hugo Chapel

reception : Roostertail

band : Newsmaker

cake : Pastry Palace

photo booth : ShutterBooth

(Thank goodness they were available after a photo booth disaster!)

Liz + BJ had a pretty cold and semi wet day to contend with. But they were troopers! Liz couldn’t be any easier to photograph – she is stunning! The church was gorgeous – I love stone walls. Afterwards we headed to downtown Birmingham for some posed shot fun, but the cold and threatening rain packed us up early. Still, we got some great stuff! The Roostertail was lit all over by purple and blue lights and it looked wonderful. The details that Liz + BJ put into their wedding was astonishing. They really thought of everything and it showed.

Liz lookin’ good:

Super rad staircase at St. Hugo:

Isn’t this place gorgeous!?:

Yummy red fall leaves = best background ever:

There is something about this that I can’t get enough of:

Maybe my fav. They are SO cute together:

Liz is too adorable for words in this shot (and I love the glowing colors in the background):

Their guests had these confetti spraying guns during their first dance that made for some really fun shots!:

Um. I really don’t know. But wow, huh? All I do know is that BJ made 5 Ghost Busters costumes for Halloween one year and then this happened:

OK. This deserves it’s own blog post and will probably get it. The candy buffet was the most amazing candy buffet I have ever seen, and I see A LOT of candy buffets:

Thanks to the candy buffet: rings on wax lips:

Kudos to the candy buffet again: ring in personalized candy holding pill bottle (seriously the coolest wedding detail ever) ETA: Ive gotten some questions already about these pill bottles and why they were used. Answer: Liz is a pharmacist!

Katherine + Langdon Get Hitched, Birmingham Style

ceremony + reception venue : The Townsend Hotel

cake : The Townsend Bakery

band : Joyride

flowers + linens : Emerald City Designs

Katherine and Langdon are classy, down to earth, considerate, photogenic and gracious people. Nate and I enjoyed every minute we got to spend with them on their wedding day.

Everything was so incredibly beautiful. Katherine was stunning (I proposed marriage to her at one point even) and the ceremony and reception setup/decor was incredible (ECD never disappoints).

2 Katherine’s are better than 1:

Langdon had some trouble with his bow tie (they all do):

The first time they saw each other:

Langdon shed a tear when he saw her:

This is my favorite, ever:

Fun with cathedral veils!:

Super fun:

If you wear a veil, please also wear the blusher, it is SO pretty:

Awesome moment right after the 1st kiss:

First dance:

Rings on mini creme brulee in spoon thingy:
