Studio Dog Portraits with Toby~!

Toby came to the studio for his dog portraits and rocked it hard. He has set a new record for shortest session ever. Since he is a therapy dog, he is SO good and trained that it only took me like 30 minutes to get his session shot. Amazing.

Studio Dog Portraits with Cheyenne + Sunny, the Pitbull Sisters~!

You know by now, our free donation sessions benefit the Royal Oak Animal Shelter. Well, Jennifer, who is one of the employees there, brought in her two amazingly adorable pit bulls, Cheyenne and Sunny, to see what the fuss was about~!

These girls are super adorable. I wanted to take them home and give them to Douggy so he could have some good pit bull influences in his life~! Sunny was a bit more into the whole dog model thing than Cheyenne, but like always, some really beautiful portraits of Cheyenne were made too.

Super Cutie Pit Bull Dog Portrait of Lilly~!

Meet the beautiful Lilly. She is a pitbull. She is a super sweety. She is the pooch of our ultra fab dog trainer, Tammy, @ Fido Personal Dog Training in Ferndale. She and Sarah (the other kick ass trainer there) have helped us GINORMOUSLY with our latest handful, Douglas.

Lilly is an older woman. She was a little scared and unsure of this whole dog modeling thing, but as usual, I prevailed and captured some seriously wonderful images of her~!

Puppy Dog Portraits – Dexter the Boxer Puppy~!

Meet Dexter, the most adorable b+w boxer puppy ever~! He is the puppy of our friends Kerine + Joe. And, while they have not actually met as of yet, he is Dougs best friend :)

I don’t know how or why, but puppies are the best at dog portraits. You’d think they would be the worst because, well, they are puppies, but they stay in one place longer than adult dogs.
